Community Now? is an interdisciplinary cooperative research project that aims to develop design tools and strategies, together with existing civic initiatives, to strengthen the structures of communities and give them a new public. The three-day international symposium Community Now? The Politics of Participatory Design focused on current social developments with guests and projects from all over. It explored how to promote processes of active participation and support the sustainable development of communities, including their impact on policy making and everyday life.
