ABOUT ME
I got my first camera for my tenth birthday and since then I’ve been framing reality as a way to explore it.
Through my craft as a filmmaker and photographer, I strive to push the boundaries of traditional narrative storytelling and question dominant norms of beauty and form. I seek to discover new means of transforming our lived multi-dimensional experiences using mechanical tools and two-dimensional frames.
I’m a strong believer in the power of stories to connect people and reveal new realities and my work often engages in themes involving language, identity, gender, sexuality, politics, exile and the city.
I received formal training in Direction and Cinematography from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem and have worked since on projects ranging from exploratory video art to feature films, promotional clips for social media, event documentation, and print and video campaigns. Although I’m based in Berlin, my work takes me all over.
This website is a window into my adventures. I hope it will lead to exciting discoveries and fruitful collaborations.
