“The Self & The Other” was the final, closing illustration exhibition of a joint German-Israeli project organized by the Burg Wissem Bilderbuchmuseum in Troisdorf in collaboration with the Department of Visual Communication at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, with support from the German-Israeli Future Forum (DIZF). The project took place between March 2013 and November 2014, bringing together five to six German and Israeli illustrators for periods of joint work and a group workshop in each of the two countries.
