Queering Justice was an interactive discussion that occurred as part of an annual series of events and workshops called Legal Intervention Days, organized by the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR).
Event participants were invited to critically reflect together with the speakers on the recent advancements in LGBTQI rights, while identifying contemporary gaps in justice for the queer community. In a conversation moderated by ECCHR alumna Allison West, activist-scholars Katherine Franke and Emilia Roig gave progressive and personal accounts of issues like marriage equality, queer activism, critical race theory and how these issues are intertwined.
These pictures document the event for use on the organization’s website and publications.
