The Design Research Lab at the Berlin University of the Arts works on interdisciplinary design research projects that mediate the gap between technological innovations and people’s real needs.

As part of their research and work on civic engagement in public spaces, the DRLab created a number of digital tools  for fostering different kinds of participatory communication and interaction in the public arena.

They commissioned these videos to publicize and explain these tools.
